Easter Surprises!

That’s it, the final crochet pattern is published in the Easter egg cosy range!

First up, the Studio Ghibli designs. If you know me, then you will know that I am a HUGE fan. So picking three of my favourite characters – Jiji (from Kiki’s Delivery Service), Totoro (from My Neighbour Totoro) and No Face (Kaonashi, from Spirited Away) was a no-brainer. I could watch these movies all day, and it was a whole lotta fun making them.

Secondly, the Disney Pixar trio – the Alien from Toy Story, Mike from Monsters Inc and (of course) a minion.

All of them are designed to fit a Kinder egg as a standard point of reference for size that everyone can relate to. I can’t testify to how many had to be bought in the making of these patterns! They just seemed to… disappear. 🙂

Each pattern is deliberately super simple, with predominantly single crochet stitches with basic increases and decreases. All colour changes are done in complete rows, so there should be nothing scary for the beginner out there. And you can find them all HERE in our free patterns page.

I hope you love them as much as I loved making them. They are perfect for a cute twist to Easter gifts, or fun addition to an Easter egg hunt.

Happy Easter everyone!
