CROCHET AMIGURUMI PATTERN

Inspired by the 2009 stop-motion animated classic, may I introduce to you, Coraline Jones.

You don’t need a portal to find the Other World, you can choose yourself if you want safety eyes or buttons 🙂

The pattern has been worked up in aran weight cotton yarn (Brand: Drops Paris), but you could substitute for a different weight/yarn type as long as you change the hook size accordingly.

But first a few details:

Terminology: The pattern is written in English, in standard US terminology

Measurements: The finished piece measures approx. 22cm tall

What you’ll need:

Aran weight yarn (Drops Paris) – yellow, denim blue, blue, red, coral pink, beige
3.5 mm crochet hook
9 mm safety eyes (x2)
Stuffing material
Stitch markers and pins (optional)
Yarn needle
Embroidery thread or beads (optional, for creating her hair pin)

Stitch Knowledge Required:

Magic ring
Chain stitch
Single crochet stitch
Back loops only
Front loops only
Single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
Invisible decrease
