Marvel : Dr Strange

CROCHET AMIGURUMI PATTERN

Inspired by the iconic Sorcerer Supreme from the Marvel comics, may I introduce to you Doctor Strange.

Complete with his mystical robes, signature streaked hair and Cloak of Levitation.

The pattern has been worked up in aran weight cotton yarn (Brand: Drops Paris), but you could substitute for a different weight/yarn type as long as you change the hook size accordingly.

But first a few details:

Terminology: The pattern is written in English, in standard US terminology

Measurements: The finished piece measures approx. 22cm tall

What you’ll need:

• Aran weight yarn (Drops Paris) – navy, denim blue, red, beige, black and white)
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 9 mm safety eyes (x2)
• Stuffing material
• Stitch markers and pins (optional)
• Yarn needle
• Sequins (optional, for his medallion and cloak)

Stitch Knowledge Required:

• Magic ring
• Slip stitch
• Chain stitch
• Single crochet stitch
• Half double crochet
• Back loops only
• Front loops only
• Single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
• Invisible decrease
