CROCHET AMIGURUMI PATTERN
Ever wondered how Santa manages to deliver presents all around the world in one night? Well, now you know! It’s 2020, and Santa has his own squadron!

This pattern details how to make your own squadron planes and crew, including Santa, Rudolph and boy and girl elves. Each of the crew members are made individually and can be hung as baubles in their own right, or you can pop them in and out of a plane.

The pattern has been worked up in aran weight cotton yarn (Brand: Drops Paris), but you could substitute for a different weight/yarn type as long as you change the hook size accordingly.
The colours shown are just a guide- you can go crazy with different colours (especially for the planes) and introduce some candy stripes and all sorts.
But first a few details:
Terminology: The pattern is written in English, in standard US terminology
Measurements: The finished pilots measure approx. 11cm tall (plus hats 19cm). The plane measures approx. 21cm long and 18cm wide. You can of course make them smaller by using a lighter weight yarn and smaller hook size.
