CROCHET AMIGURUMI PATTERN

For the ultimate gamer inspired creations, here are our designs for your very own iconic duo – Zelda and Link.

Both crochet patterns can be bought individually, but they are also now available at a discount as an eBook in our Ravelry store for anyone wanting the collection of two.

Each pattern has been worked up in aran weight cotton yarn (Brand: Drops Paris), but you could substitute for a different weight/yarn type as long as you change the hook size accordingly.

But first a few details:

Terminology: The pattern is written in English, in standard US terminology

Measurements: The finished pieces all measure approx. 22-23 cm tall.

What you’ll need:

• Aran weight yarn (Drops Paris) – Brown, white, green, beige, yellow, blue and grey.
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 9 mm safety eyes (x2)
• Stuffing material
• Stitch markers and pins (optional)
• Cocktail stick (optional, for the sword)
• Felt (optional, to line the back of the shield)
• Yarn needle

Stitch Knowledge Required:

• Magic ring
• Chain stitch
• Single crochet stitch
• half double crochet
• Back loops only
• Front loops only
• Single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
• Invisible decrease

• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 9 mm safety eyes (x2)
• Stuffing material
• Stitch markers and pins (optional)
• Sequin (optional, for crown decoration)
• Yarn needle

• Magic ring
• Chain stitch
• Single crochet stitch
• Half double crochet
• Back loops only
• Front loops only
• Single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
• Invisible decrease
