Fasten off
Using blue yarn, work 6sc into a magic ring. Slip st to join and fasten off.
Using red yarn, tightly chain 20 stitches and fasten off, weaving in the ends.
Fold the red chain stitches in half and fix to the top of the hat so that he ends are loose, then cover with the small blue piece.

ASSEMBLY
Attach the arms to either side of the body. The tops of the arm should be approx. 3 rows from the top.
In the photos the arms are not stuffed as they still hold their shape when hollow, but if you want a fuller, rounded look, consider stuffing the bottom half of the arms. It’s better to only stuff around half way up otherwise it can make sewing to the body more difficult.
Loop the necktie/bow around the neck with the bow hanging down at the front and fix into position. Then place the bib over the neck (short sides to the front and back).
Attach the head, and the hat.
Then finish off with your mouth detailing. 🙂
